Not many people know but underneath a Jaguar X Type diesel 2.0 and 2.2 is a Ford Mondeo. They share a lot of spare. its worth noting not all their diesel engines are the same as a Ford Mondeo. I have found though many Jaguar X Type parts that are shared with the Mondeo are cheaper from a Jaguar dealer than they are from a Ford dealer
